The GAF Golden Pledge® Warranty is GAF’s most comprehensive roofing warranty, offering extensive protection for both the materials used in your roof and the workmanship of its installation. It is designed to provide peace of mind to homeowners by covering issues related to manufacturing defects and installation errors.

This premium warranty is only available through GAF Master Elite® Contractors, such as Timberline, who are factory-certified and meet GAF’s strict standards of professionalism and installation quality.

Material Defects Coverage

• Provides up to 50 years of non-prorated coverage for defects in GAF roofing materials, including shingles and eligible accessories like underlayment and ridge caps.

Workmanship Coverage

• Includes 25 years of coverage for workmanship, protecting against problems caused by improper installation.
  If a workmanship issue occurs, GAF will cover the cost of repairs or replacement.

Full Roof System Protection

• Covers the entire roofing system as long as all components (shingles, underlayment, ventilation, etc.) are GAF products.
  Ensures a consistent and reliable roofing system backed by one manufacturer.

Inspections by GAF

• The roof installation may be inspected by a GAF representative to ensure it meets their high-quality standards, providing an added layer of assurance.

Transferability

• The warranty is transferable to a new homeowner within the first 20 years, enhancing the resale value of your home.

Tear-Off and Disposal Costs

• Includes the cost of tearing off and disposing of defective roofing materials if repairs or replacement are required.

• Shingles and Accessories: Protection against material defects for up to 50 years.
